Jan Utthan Sewa Samiti, Gonda is registered under Societies Registration Act,21/1860 established in the Year 2015 has its headquarters at Gonda. The organization has been working in the field of Education Health and family welfare Child welfare; Women welfare Vocational training & Environmental conservation programme, Tobbaco control programme, Drug de-addiction, Drinking Water & Sanitation, Yoga and Naturopathy, Old Age Home, Women Empowerment, Training, Awareness etc. from self-financing sources and donation since its inception and has established proper monitoring system, networking with different NGOs working in the same field. The organization has implemented many projects of varying sizes. The foundation has implemented useful programs beneficial for the people staying in rural and urban remote areas spread across different districts of Gonda, Shravasti, Balrampur, Barabanki, Bahraich, Faizabad, Pratapgarh etc.

The Society runs various computer training programmes on its premises to raise awareness about the use of computers in everyday life. Several unemployed boys and girls benefited from the programme.
Vocational Training
To reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities, resulting in an appreciable improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis, through building strong grassroots level institutions for the poor. The aim of training is to provide universal coverage of the urban poor in skill development and credit facilities. It will strive for skills training for the urban poor for market-based jobs and selfemployment, facilitating easy access to credit.
Welfare of Older
An old-age home is typically a residence for elderly people who have no one to care for them or who have been evicted from their homes by their children. The place is, of course, like home, where the inmates get all the facilities they need for a routine life, like food, clothing, and shelter. It is the breakup of the system of the joint family and the introduction of the nuclear family that has brought this unhappy situation into our society, and the old-age homes have had to come up to cater to the needs of the elderly
AIDS Awareness Program
Merely the name of AIDS haunts one's spirit. AIDS is an incurable disease today. What makes this disease more deadly is the ignorance about it. Most of the people fall prey to it only due unawareness like using syringe used by another person. So, in order to make people aware and prevent this fatal disease, the organization is conducting an AIDS awareness programme in the district of Gonda. This programme has been launched to make people aware of AIDS and ways to prevent this deadly disease.
Drinking Water Camp
There is an urgent need to take action to prevent water misuse. The recent drought in several Indian states has compelled us to consider methods and means of water conservation. The society organised a camp to that end. The participants were informed about the various water conservation techniques that can be used. Aside from that, participants were informed about the importance of drinking only clean water.
World Environment Day
The society held three camps in the city to discuss the impact of tree planting on the growing pollution on human health and the environment. The distinguished speakers discussed the factors that are contributing to an increase in all types of pollution, including water, air, and sound pollution. It was felt that there was a need to speed up the process of removing old vehicles, reducing the use of plastics, requiring the use of effluent treatment plants, and planting trees, among other things, to help reduce and control pollution.
Consumer Awareness Program
The society organizes a consumer awareness camp on the occasion of consumer day on a regular basis to make consumers aware of the precautions that they should take before purchasing anything from the market. The programme was highly successful in imparting the basic rules governing the consumer's interest. Further, they were informed about the various consumer associations that can be approached in case of a need for guidance and support
Literacy / Educational Program
The society has been operating a school and a college in order to promote education to children who are unable to attend school due to poverty. Family responsibility, Society has started education centres in various locations, and the Society's efforts have consistently thrown a new light of hope for illiterate farmers.
Handicraft Training Program
Capacity building and training are important forms of intervention that can assist communities in identifying activities that can improve their livelihood options. Indigenous women from various districts participate in a one- or two-day handicraft training programme on a regular basi

Handicapped Welfare Program
The society has run a number of handicapped programmes involving disabled people. The programme raised awareness among handicapped people so that they could do their jobs more accurately and live a normal life. There was no other business to be done. As a result, the meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
SC/ST Awareness Program
Several SC/ST development programmes have been conducted by the Society in recent years. The program's main goal was to raise awareness among SC/ST youths about their societal responsibilities and encourage them to participate in social activities
Road Safety Awareness Program
Road safety and driving are serious issues for all of us, and catastrophic measures should be taken to reduce traffic accidents and save lives. Wearing a helmet and a seat belt, riding within the speed limit, and understanding basic driving rules such as traffic lights, roadside indicators, and walking on the zebra line/left side of the road are all recommended. No cell phones or headphones allowed while driving or crossing the street.
Health Checkup Camp
The society initiated this programme in order to educate the people of the village about the programme. This programme was created to alleviate the villagers' fear and prepare them to deal with the serious risks that they face on a daily basis. We have covered approximately 7 to 8 villages as part of this programme, with the goal of leaving them healthy and happy.
Embroidery Training Program
Society has begun the programme at its headquarters. The training will take place in a training centre. The main goal of this programme is to train trainees to the point where they can be self-sufficient and stand on their own. Approximately 70 trainees are currently receiving training from this centre. This centre performs its duties very effectively and earns a good name and reputation in the community.
Culture Program
The local access to raw materials presents a hood opportunity in the food processing industry. Jam, Jelly, and Murrabba, for example, are in high demand in the urban market. A programme was organized by the society to encourage the young generation to explore the opportunities in the food processing industry. This programme provided training in the preparation of the aforementioned items.
Seminar/Workshop for Minorities
Organization has organization two days seminar/workshop to formulate Annual Media Plan and carry out IEC activities through Multimedia campaign involving Print media, electronic media and Outdoor Publicity for dissemination of information to generate awareness relating to schemes/ program and initiatives for Minorities
Rural Sanitation Program
In the past, society has organized numerous Rural development camps to raise general awareness among villagers about drainage systems, literacy programmes, and sanitary facilities, as well as to assist them in raising their standard of living. Under the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, the organisation has made people aware of the importance of health and has assisted them in the construction of low-cost lavatories.

Child & Women Welfare Program
The society organized an awareness generation programme to educate women on the importance of financial independence. The programme was attended by a large number of rural women, who felt that such programs are very useful in villages where women's awareness of their financial independence is very low. Further, they were informed about various kinds of schemes formed and executed by different Govt. Departments for welfare of the women either; it is in education, employment or technical guidance etc. The women who took part in the programme were informed about the importance of education for women's self-sufficiency. They recognized the importance of education and agreed to send their children, especially the girl child, to school. It was also decided that the society would organize similar programs in the near future.
